Plus Size Bra & Panty Sets

Plus size bra and panty sets match top and bottom without guesswork: underwire, balconette and bralette tops with thongs, G-strings, briefs and garter belts, cut for Queen, XL/2XL and 3X/4X. Measure your bust and underbust for the bra and your hips for the bottom, because a set is only as good as the fit of both pieces. Everything ships in plain packaging with no indication of the contents or the sender.

Plus Size Bra & Panty Sets buying guide

This page lists every plus-size bra and panty set we stock, from simple two-piece lace to three- and four-piece sets with garter belts and stockings. The products above are the whole range. The sections below cover how to size a set properly and what to look for in the construction, written from the questions customers ask us most.

Sizing and fit

Plus sizes are labeled three ways in this range: Queen or 1X/2X, XL/2XL, and 3X/4X. They are not interchangeable between makers, so measure your bust at the fullest point, your natural waist and your hips at the widest point, and match all three against the chart on the product rather than the letter on the label.

Most lingerie sets are sold in a single size for both pieces, so check the chart for bust, underbust and hips. If your top and bottom measurements fall in different sizes, choose by the bust: a panty that is slightly loose is fine, a bra that is too small is not.

Materials and what they demand

Stretch lace and power mesh are the backbone of plus-size lingerie because they move with the body instead of fighting it. Look for wide, soft elastic at the edges: thin elastic on a fuller figure digs in and rolls, while a broader band lies flat and stays comfortable for the whole evening.

Underwire and balconette bras give lift and support for a fuller bust. Bralettes and soft cups are comfortable but offer less shape. Wide back bands and adjustable straps spread the weight and stop the straps digging in. Satin, velvet and wet-look sets give a different look to lace and are just as easy to care for.

Care that preserves it

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, press the water out in a towel rather than wringing, and dry flat or over a rail away from direct heat. Fasten every hook before washing so it cannot snag the lace, and never tumble dry: heat is what kills elastic.

Store bras with the cups nested together rather than folded, which crushes the shape of an underwire cup.

Frequently asked questions about plus size bra and panty sets

Are the bra and panty the same size? Usually, yes. The set is sold in one size, so check the chart for both bust and hips.

Is a garter belt included? In three- and four-piece sets, yes. The product description lists every piece.

Will the bra support a large bust? Choose an underwire or balconette style with a wide band for real support.

Can I wear the set under everyday clothes? Many can. Unpadded lace shows through thin fabric; smooth satin and plain styles sit better under clothes.

Common mistakes when buying plus size bra and panty sets

Buying by panty size and ending up with a bra that is too small.

Ignoring the underbust. The band does most of the supporting, not the straps.
