Gemstone Dildos

Gemstone dildos are carved from solid natural stone, such as rose quartz, obsidian, clear quartz, amethyst, jade and aventurine, then cut and hand-polished rather than moulded. No two pieces are identical, because the grain, colour and inclusions of the stone come through in the finished shape.

Stone is completely non-porous, so it does not hold bacteria the way soft materials can, and it holds temperature well: warm it under running water or chill it briefly for a cooler touch. It is also heavy for its size, which many people find gives a fuller, more deliberate feel with very little effort.

Choose on shape first, straight or curved, slim or full, and then on the stone. Any lubricant is safe with stone, silicone included. Clean with warm water and mild soap, dry fully, and store each piece wrapped so it cannot knock against anything hard. Check the surface before each use: a chip or crack means retire it.
