Packing & Prosthetic Underwear
Packing & Prosthetic Underwear holds a packer or a dildo in place through the garment itself, so nothing has to be strapped on separately. Pouch depth is the measurement that decides whether it stays put through a full day.
Choosing packing and prosthetic underwear
One-piece prosthetic briefs versus pouch harnesses
A one-piece prosthetic brief is a single moulded garment. The genitals are part of the fabric, there is nothing to insert and nothing to fall out, and the silhouette under trousers is continuous with no seam or edge to read through. That is the closest result and the least fuss to put on. The trade-off is that you own one shape at one size, and silicone is heavy and warm against the skin. A pouch harness — a jockstrap, brief or boxer with a front sleeve — is lighter, launders more easily and lets you change the packer without changing the underwear. It is the better choice for daily wear, and the better choice if you are still deciding what size and firmness you want.
Getting the size right
Size the waistband to your body, not to the prosthetic. A brief that is loose at the hip lets the weight of the silicone drag the whole garment down, and the shape shifts forward every time you sit. If you are between sizes on a one-piece silicone brief, take the smaller one — the material stretches with wear and body heat, and a snug fit is what holds the shape in place. On pouch harnesses, take the size you would normally wear in underwear.
Skin tones
Most prosthetic underwear is offered in two or three tones, usually described as light, medium and dark. Colour matters less than most people expect, because the garment is rarely seen under clothing and reads mainly as silhouette. It matters a great deal if the piece is intended to be seen. If you are buying to be seen, order the tone closest to the surrounding skin rather than the closest to the face, which is usually darker.
What can and cannot be used for penetration
Read the product description before assuming. Some prosthetic briefs are firm enough for penetration and are described as such. Many are soft-packing only — they are made to sit and to shape, and they will not stay rigid under pressure. A pouch harness with a rigid packer or a compatible dildo is the reliable route if penetration is the point, and several of the harnesses here take an O-ring or a standard flared base.
Wearing time and heat
Silicone does not breathe. A solid prosthetic brief worn for eight hours in summer will trap heat and moisture, and skin that stays damp against silicone gets irritated. Give yourself a break every few hours if you can, and dry the skin properly before putting the garment back on. For all-day wear in warm weather, a fabric pouch harness with a lighter packer is far kinder to the body.
Cleaning and storage
Wash solid silicone pieces in warm water with a mild unscented soap, rinse thoroughly and let them air dry completely before storing — trapped moisture inside a hollow prosthetic is what turns a good piece sour. Do not use silicone lubricant on a silicone garment; it degrades the surface. Store flat or loosely rolled, never folded under weight, and keep silicone pieces apart from one another, because different silicone formulations left in contact for months can bond and mark. Fabric harnesses can generally go in a laundry bag on a cold cycle, but remove the packer first.
Discretion under clothing
Heavier trouser fabrics — denim, twill, wool — conceal a prosthetic almost completely. Thin jersey, swimwear and lightweight linen do not, and will show both the outline and any seam at the edge of a garment. If discretion is the priority, a smaller and softer shape under a structured fabric reads far better than a larger one under something thin.
Common mistakes
Buying for maximum size is the most common one, and it is the mistake people regret quickest — a large prosthetic is heavy, it drags the waistband, and it is harder to conceal, not easier. Second is treating a soft-packing piece as though it were rigid and being disappointed. Third is storing a hollow silicone brief while it is still damp inside. Fourth is using silicone lubricant on silicone.
Where this sits in the rest of the range
If you want the garment only and intend to supply your own shape, look at Men’s Underwear and the harnesses in Strap-On Harnesses. For the shapes themselves rather than the underwear, see Dildos. For everything else worn on the body, the parent shelf is Apparel & Clubwear.
Questions we are asked
Can I wear one of these to swim? A solid silicone brief will hold up in water, but it will be visible through wet swim fabric. Check the product description for water suitability before buying for that purpose.
Will it show at airport security? Body scanners can register a prosthetic as an anomaly. It is not illegal and it is not unusual, and staff in most jurisdictions are trained for it, but be aware it may prompt a question.
How long does a silicone prosthetic last? Years, with proper washing and dry storage. What kills them early is trapped moisture, silicone lubricant and being stored folded under other items.
Buying packing and prosthetic underwear from Power Play Studio
Everything on this shelf is authentic stock from the manufacturer or an authorised US distributor, shipped from the United States in unmarked outer packaging with a discreet billing descriptor. Prices are the manufacturer’s advertised price where one applies. If you are unsure whether a piece is soft-packing or firm enough for penetration, ask before you order rather than after — it is the single question that decides whether a piece works for you.
